Biografía
- José Antonio Padilla Melián -
Natural de Tenerife, obtuvo el título superior de trompeta en el Conservatorio Superior de Música de Canarias en 2012. En su orientación por las trompetas históricas obtiene título de máster en interpretación de la música antigua en la Escuela Superior de Música de Cataluña y Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona; en los últimos años profundiza en la interpretación históricamente informada, aprendiendo de trompetistas como Edward Tarr, Ricard Casany, Nicolas Isabelle o Jaroslav Roucek, participando en la orquesta barroca del Ensemble Akademie de Friburgo (2017-2023).
Para el ejercicio de la función docente, logra el máster habilitante en la Universidad de La Laguna, y en esta última etapa ha trabajado como profesor interino en el cuerpo de profesores de música y artes escénicas de la Comunidad de Madrid. Al mismo tiempo, acercando dichas prácticas e instrumentos, ha formado parte de diferentes actividades pedagógicas en el Conservatorio Profesional de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Tenerife Trumpet Weekend, Alcalá Trumpet Fest y Numskull Brass Festival.
Como interprete ha colaborado con la Orquesta Nacional de España, Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid - Titular del Teatro Real, Orquesta Clásica Santa Cecilia y Orquesta Filarmonía de Madrid, y en las agrupaciones de interpretación historicista, La Madrileña, Il Combatimento, Orquesta Barroca de Tenerife, Tenerife Antigua, Camerata Antonio Soler... participando en el Festival de Música de Canarias, Bach 300 Leipzig, Festival de Música Religiosa de Canarias, Festival de Música Antigua del Puerto de la Cruz, Festival de Música Antigua de los Pirineos y Órganos Históricos de Gran Canaria.

- José Antonio Padilla Melián -
A native of Tenerife, he obtained a higher degree in trumpet at the Canary Islands Higher Conservatory of Music in 2012. In his orientation towards historical trumpets, he obtained a master's degree in interpretation of early music at the Higher School of Music of Catalonia and the Autonomous University of Barcelona; In recent years he delves into historically informed interpretation, learning from trumpeters such as Edward Tarr, Ricard Casany, Nicolas Isabelle or Jaroslav Roucek, participating in the baroque orchestra of the Ensemble Akademie de Freiburg (2017-2023).
To carry out his teaching function, he obtained a qualifying master's degree at the University of La Laguna, and in this last stage he has worked as an interim professor in the body of music and performing arts teachers of the Community of Madrid. At the same time, bringing these practices and instruments closer, he has taken part in different pedagogical activities at the Professional Conservatory of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Tenerife Trumpet Weekend, Alcalá Trumpet Fest and Numskull Brass Festival.
As a performer he has collaborated with the National Orchestra of Spain, the Madrid Symphony Orchestra - Titular of the Teatro Real, the Santa Cecilia Classical Orchestra and the Madrid Philharmonic Orchestra, and in the historicist performance groups, La Madrileña, Il Combatimento, Orquesta Barroca de Tenerife, Tenerife Antigua, Camerata Antonio Soler... participating in the Canary Islands Music Festival, Bach 300 Leipzig, Music Festival Religious of the Canary Islands, Early Music Festival of Puerto de la Cruz, Early Music Festival of the Pyrenees and Historical Organs of Gran Canaria.
